WHAT IS CBD?
CBD is one of 113 chemicals that can be found in the hemp plant.
What is Legal THC?
Legal THC is derived from Hemp, (vs Marijuana) and must containn 0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight. Other forms of Legal THC include: Delta 8,10,11, HHC and more.

Is Legal THC Safe?
The Legal THC market is unregulated and due diligence should be taken to ensure what you’re ingesting is safe. The following are a few questions you should ask before purchasing Legal THC:
Where was the hemp grown?
-Hemp is a bio collector, meaning it absorbs nutrients and contaminants from its surroundings. Where it grows matters and US grown hemp is superior to foreign plants.
Do the finished products have a Certificate of Analysis, (COA)?
-A Potency COA will show the Mg and % of each cannabinoid including THC. A Full Panel COA will include an analysis of heavy metals, pesticides, molds and mycotoxins. A full panel COA is preferred considered the gold standard in the industry.
Does the person behind the counter know what they’re talking about?
-I know it seems subjective, however would you buy a computer from someone who couldn’t explain how it works or what’s included inside? The education of the staff can speak to the quality of the products on the shelf.
Does the finished product meet Voluntary Regulatory Standards?
-This industry is unregulated, and brands are not bound by a uniform regulatory standard. That said, good standards have been created and should be followed.
The following should apply:
-List of all ingredients and mg for all cannabinoids
-FDA warnings & 21 years or old labeling
-Child resistant packaging & QR code link to COA
How is THC Legal?
In 2018 the Farm Bill was renewed which included a provision for Hemp. The bill defines Hemp as Cannabis Sativa with <0.3% Delta 9 THC by dry weight. That allows products to include THC derived from Hemp legally. Products with a heavier weight, (e.g. Cookie) may contain more THC and still reamin compliant. HOW DOES IT WORK?
CBD and THC interact with our bodies in a variety of ways. One of the main ways they impact us is by mimicking and augmenting the effects of the compounds in our bodies called endogenous cannabinoids– so named because of their similarity to the compounds found in the hemp plant. These endocannabinoids are part of a regulatory system called the endocannabinoid system, (ECS).
The discovery of the endocannabinoid system has significantly advanced our understanding of health and disease. It has major implications for nearly every area of medical science and helps to explain how and why CBD and THC are such versatile compounds and why cannabis is such a widely consumed mood-altering plant, despite its regulatory status.
The endocannabinoid system plays a crucial role in regulating a broad range of physiological processes that affect our everyday experience our mood, our energy level, our intestinal fortitude, immune activity, blood pressure, bone density, glucose metabolism, how we experience pain, stress, hunger, and more.
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) works to keep the body in a state of balance, (homeostasis). While there are specific details about how cannabinoids work, in general the endocannabinoid system performs different functions specific to each area of the body to help support homeostasis.
HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS OF CBD LAST?
Tincture (taken under the tongue):
How it works:
CBD is absorbed directly into your bloodstream from the blood vessels under your tongue.
- You can expect CBD to begin working within 20-30 minutes after absorption. Because you’ll also swallow it, some will go through the digestive process and continue to be released into your bloodstream over the next hour or two. Tinctures are generally effective for?4-6 hours, peaking around one hour.
Oral (swallowed by capsule or soft gel or ingested by food or beverage):
How it works:
Once swallowed, the CBD goes through the digestive process, being absorbed by the intestines, modified by enzymes in the liver, then delivered to the bloodstream.
- Effects should begin within an hour two (depending on your metabolic rate), and peak within 4-6 hours, though effects will continue after that for several hours.
Topicals (creams, balms, salves, etc):
How it works:
CBD does not enter the bloodstream but interacts directly with receptors under your skin. This is targeted CBD treatment.
- Usually you’ll feel effects between 10-20 minutes after application. Anecdotally, most people report that they last for a couple hours.
Studies show that the half-life of CBD (when the absorbed amount is reduced by half) is one to two days. CBD can linger in your body in decreasing amounts for five to seven days, depending on how quickly your body processes it.
WHAT IS THE ENTOURAGE EFFECT?
The entourage effect is the hypothesis that there is suggested positive contribution derived from the addition of terpenes to cannabinoids. Essentially CBD and THC compounds can work synergistically together to create unique effects.
WHY IS A TINCTURE A GOOD WAY TO INGEST CBD?
By ingesting sublingually (under the tongue where many capillaries reside), the active ingredient of a tincture in this case, hemp-derived CBD reaches the bloodstream more quickly and bypasses absorption barriers like the intestines for maximum efficacy.
CAN CBD BE DETECTED BY A DRUG TEST?
The simple answer is that CBD itself is unlikely to be detected by a drug test given by an employer. This is because the drug tests that employers use aren’t looking for CBD.
Because our products contain minimal amounts of THC, (<0.3%), it is highly unlikely that full/broad spectrum products will cause you to fail a drug test.
That said, nothing is entirely impossible because, unlike CBD, THC can build up in your fatty tissue over time. So, if you’re taking a high dose of full-spectrum CBD oil every day, and if you have slow metabolism, it is possible that it could show up on a drug test.
The amount of time a person needs to for THC to be eliminated from their system entirely will vary based on those same factors.
IS CBD SAFE?
According to the World Health Organization CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile. Reported adverse effects may be as a result of drug-drug interactions between CBD and patients existing medications.
Please consult your healthcare provider with specific questions regarding drug interaction or anything else that relates to your specific medical condition.
WHAT ARE TERPENES?
Terpenes are organic compounds found in all of earth’s flora, better known as aroma and taste molecules (for example, they make a lemon smell like a lemon).
HOW MUCH SHOULD I TAKE?
Its recommended to start low and go slow!
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY CBD PRODUCTS?
Its best to preserve the freshness of your products inside a cool, dark place away from sunlight. This is especially important when it comes to topicals like balms or salves as they may melt when left in your car on a hot summer day.
WILL CBD HELP MY CONDITION?
Due to federal regulations, we cannot claim to help with specific conditions. However, we advocate for everyone to do some self-research starting with a quick search regarding what you’d like to know.
WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?
Cannabinoids are the incredulous compounds that are synthesized by the hemp plant! Our bodies also produce cannabinoids which are called endogenous cannabinoids. Endogenous means they come from inside of us. Plants contain exogenous cannabinoids. Exogenous means they come from outside of us, like from our CBD products!
HOW MUCH OF A DROPPER IS A FULL SERVING?
One full squeeze. Our droppers are calibrated to release 1ml per serving.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS TESTED / DO YOU HAVE LAB RESULTS?
Our products are triple-tested in a third-party lab. We maintain a rigorous testing process with every batch to ensure a pure product in every single bottle.
WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR PRODUCTS?
The shelf life is one year, depending on how the product is stored. We recommend you store your products in a cool place away from direct sunlight.
WHERE DOES THE HEMP IN YOUR TINCTURES COME FROM?
All of the hemp for our CBD tinctures is grown in the USA (with ethical and ecologically sound biodynamic farming practices) specifically for use in CBD tinctures. Unique zero-waste cultivation recreates the most ideal growing environment.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY TINCTURE?
When you’re done, seal tightly and store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
CAN I ADD IT TO MY FOOD/SMOOTHIE/DRINK?
Anecdotally, many people add CBD to their recipes. There are many books and online resources to explore adding CBD to your food.
WHAT DO WHOLE-PLANT AND FULL-SPECTRUM (OR BROAD-SPECTRUM) MEAN? IS CBD ISOLATE BETTER?
CBD isolate is CBD separated from the plant’s other compounds. Whole-plant CBD also called Full-spectrum CBD is CBD extract that contains the source plant’s other cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes. Similarly, Broad-spectrum CBD contains most of the original plants material but not everything.
Whole-plant extracts are more beneficial because of the entourage effect. Based on the idea that the effectiveness of CBD is enhanced by the entourage effect, our full-spectrum and broad-spectrum hemp-derived CBD products contain most or all of the cannabinoids and beneficial terpenes of their source plants.
WHAT IS CBD MICRO-DOSING?
The widely used term micro-dosing refers to the practice of consuming small amounts of CBD at a time, often at increased frequency throughout the day. A micro amount typically refers to a serving size ranging from a fraction to 2.5 mg of CBD.
Since less is typically more with CBD, users can benefit from taking smaller amounts more often as opposed to a large amount all at once. This way, a constant amount of CBD remains in the body throughout the day instead of being metabolized and eliminated just a few hours after use.
WILL IT MAKE ME DROWSY?
Some users have reported drowsiness. For some, this is not perceived as a negative effect, and they prefer to consume CBD in the evening at home or before bed.
What are the possible side effects?
Some individuals have reported altered states of mind, light-headedness, imbalance and drowsiness at varying serving amounts and at very high amounts, some users have reported gastrointestinal (GI) upset. It is not clear whether these effects are due to placebo, the CBD or possibly other plant compounds. People who are concerned about drowsiness or other effects can take it in the evening or before bed.
WILL MY BODY BUILD A TOLERANCE?
With CBD, more is not always more. Research suggests that the effects can lessen when using too much and/or too often. When CBD is used for notable effects and the effects are no longer appreciated, it may be beneficial to cease use for 2-3 days. This is typically enough time for the body to reset and any notable effects to return.
CAN I USE YOUR PRODUCTS WHILE I’M PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
Do your own research and talk with your doctor before deciding to use CBD.
CAN I GIVE IT TO MY CHILD?
That’s an individual parenting decision. Please do your own research and talk with your child’s health care provider for specific advice.
CAN I GIVE IT TO MY PET?
Do your own research and talk to your pet’s veterinarian for specific advice.
WHY WOULD I CHOOSE HEMP OVER MEDICAL CANNABIS?
The low amounts of THC in agricultural hemp make it a more favorable choice for those who would like to experience the benefits without the euphoria or psycho-toxicity that is associated with medical cannabis.
Also, our product lines are created in facilities that assure quality, safety and efficacy. Offering consistent products you can count on.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP AND MARIJUANA?
Agricultural hemp has tall, bamboo like, thick stocks, very thin leaves, and little to no flowers. Defined as a cannabis plant containing less than 0.3% THC, hemp is grown mainly to make textiles, food & oils, and does not get you high. Growing agricultural hemp has less restrictions than marijuana, which allows to be grown in larger scales and outdoors.
Marijuana plants tend to be shorter plants and are grown for their flowers. The THC content is higher in these plants and is mainly used recreationally, however, some states have legislation in place to allow marijuana for medical use with a recommendation from a doctor. Because of the restrictions regarding marijuana, growing these plants can be extremely difficult and leave an enormous carbon footprint, depending on the growing practices.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP SEED OIL AND HEMP OIL?
Hemp seed oil is manufactured from hemp seeds and contains low to no concentrations of cannabinoids. It is used for a variety of things such as: beauty products, lubricants, paints, and as a food.
Hemp oil is an extraction from the agricultural hemp aerial plant parts. This oil may contain higher concentrations Phyto cannabinoids such as CBD.
