Did you know that the hemp plant contains more than a hundred different compounds, known as cannabinoids? The most common ones are CBD and THC. When the hemp plant is harvested, it is processed and the result is called a ‘crude’ that contains all the compounds of the plant. The crude is then distilled through a continuous two-stage wiped-film distillation process. By doing this, it ensures the efficient and consistent separation of multiple components present in the crude extract. These are things like: 

• Terpenes 
• Chlorophyll 
• Flavonoids
• Other lipids 
• Plant by-products

When these products are removed, the end product is a consistent, pure full spectrum CBD distillate. THC and other minor cannabinoids, the terpenes, are lost in the distillation process.
